Gundam The Battle Master 2

Review by Tamahome

After the release of Gundam battle master, bandai didn't waste anytime to release a second installment of the game which changed a lot of the bugs and made the gameplay a lot better in the second installment of the game called Gundam the Battle Master 2. In this installment of the game, the super meter is taken out, and instead replaced with 3 beeds of supers which you could use while fighting an opponent. This system is a lot better since the super bar in the first installment filled up so fast that you cannot use all of the super bar. The limitations also lead to players using their supers wisely. The supers in this installment is also a lot more powerful than those in the first installment. The game also features a ammunition guage. Every mobile suit starts with 500 units of ammunition which will have to last them for 2 rounds against the enemy. If the ammunition is used up, too bad. Unlike the last time, the beam saber is actually a move now in which you will have to input joystick motions to use, instead of pressing a single button as in the first installment. Another added feature the the second installment is the combo feature. You could now do combos of more than 30 hits on the enemy if you input the series of motion right. Another appealing feature of the game is that they added more recent mobile suits as well as a whole new one that is only created for this game. The line up includes Zeta Gundam, Double Zeta gundam. Neul Ziel, and the huge mecha, Pyscho Gundam Mk III. Overall. This is a worthy sequel to Gundam the battle master. And again I urge gundam fans to get this game.
